In order to start netbackup services in linux, run the following command:
start netbackup
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpstart
- You will need to be root or have root privileges in order to run this command. The netbackup services will start up and you will be able to backup your data.
Stop netbackup
If you want to stop the netbackup services, run the following command:
/usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpstop
- Again, you will need to be root or have root privileges in order to run this command. The netbackup services will stop and your data will no longer be backed up.
